Just recently I was invited to a wedding of my best friend. She wanted everything to be just perfect - she and her fiance chose the nicely-decorated restaurant; her wedding dress took my breath away. Well, naturally I wanted to look like a princess invited to the ball! I imagined myself wearing a majestic evening dress. I thought over all the details in advance. Of course I needed an elegant pair of high-heeled shoes to match my gown. I made an appointment with a professional make-up designer and hairdresser. But to tell you the truth, I was puzzled as for what jewelry necklace to choose. It is not a secret that the right choice even of the single jewelry piece will make a lady look just irresistible. To make the choice easier I tried to follow a few pieces of advice:

• If you want to wear eye-catching, boldly-designed jewelry pieces, first study the latest fashion trends. Such items are designed for the most stylish and self-assured ladies. This category of jewelry is dominated by pieces of geometrically irregular shape. The image of a lady wearing such a necklace should reflect eccentricity in every detail. If a woman prefers classic style, an eccentric necklace will look florid.
• A big-sized bright necklace will greatly match a plain dress. It is especially true about a black or white dress.
• If you stop your choice at a necklace with a big gem in the center, be careful - the bigger the size of the gem is, the less natural it looks.
• A diamond necklace is your best choice if you are going to a ball in a barenecked dress.
• A silver necklace will not match a golden bracelet. It is possible to unite silver and golden jewelry pieces only in a well-thought-over combination. For example if you want to add some vividness to a dark dress, use a combination of golden and silver chains.
• The nicest necklace for a bride is a diamond necklace. A young lady should wear a figured metal necklace, while an elderly lady should pay her attention to a necklace with precious or semi-precious stones.
• If you are happy to have rather a long neck, a short, skin-tight necklace will underline the beauty of your neck. I you are not satisfied with your neck, it is better not to attract attention to it, but to wear a long golden chain with a nice pendant or a combination of shorter chains.

As for me, I prefer a rather conservative style. That is why I chose an elegant necklace that seems to be composed from tiny water-drops. It is the most refined jewelry piece I have ever put on. It perfectly matched my overall image and created that special joyful mood that anyone should be caught by on the wedding.
